Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome to Aurora, a beautiful blue Abyssinian who was left on the doorstep of a former cat rescuer. She is looking for her forever home now as she wants to spoil her new family. She loves to be held, has a huge purr, and will head butt you for affection, Wow, when you see her in person she looks exactly like a minature cougar but she has the disposition of the sweetest domestic cat! She is named is after the Greek goddess of morning and dawn, Aurora. Her name means dawn. She is 2-4 years young, sweet, spayed, and quite talkative. She would probably do well with a laid back cat, but most likely would love to bve the goddess of the hosehold. She is spayed, fully vetted, up to date on shots, combo tested negative and treated for worms and fleas.
Her adoption fee is $300.00 and this goes to past vet care. The fees go to pay back a part of the vet care they receive.
If you are interested in adopting Aurora, please email us at ccrescue614@yahoo.com and we will get you an application to fill out.
We require an adoption application and approval before we set an appointment to meet the cats they are in private homes for foster care. This is policy and no exception will be made.
As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter how will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can apply but if not living in your home we do not adopt. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay for the adoption fee for the person adopting that is a good way to help them adopt a cat/kitten and we then screen them to adopt and you pay for the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before.
We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate you thinking of a rescue kitty to adopt but not as a gift.
We Never ship cats and declawing is not an option. WE are a volunteer organization so please keep in mind when you contact us emails are much quicker, phone calls we so our best to get back to you but it will take a bit longer
