Olive Oyl's Story...
Olly is a Treeing Walker Coonhound! She's a four month old baby, full of life and possibilities. She's a sweet young thing just waiting for the right home. True to the breed, she's good with kids, but being a puppy, she'll drive your cat bananas.
The cute puppy stage lasts only a short time. Potential adopters need to be aware that Olly will live to be approximately 15 years old, possibly longer, and will need someone who will be committed to her health, safety, and well being for that long.
Note: A better picture will be posted!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive Oyl, a Waldorf Treeing Walker Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
