Noodle's Story...
Noodle, Meatball, Edgar, Chick Pea, and Sweet Potato are a litter of playful, sweet, snugly and fun three-month-old kittens looking for a loving home. These five babies were dropped off at Chicago Animal Care & Control when they were quite young. They were lucky to get out of the shelter and into a loving foster home thanks to the Friends of CACC Rescue Group. These kittens are very healthy, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, virus-tested, and micro-chipped. Their adoption fee of $65 each, or $100 as a pair, benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. To meet and possibly adopt one or preferably two of these adorable kittens, please contact Aimee at afagan522@hotmail.com or 312-287-5981.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noodle, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
