Danny's Story...
Hi World!

I’m Danny, a little cuddle-bug of about 2, with a sweet, gentle heart. My foster Mom says I am the easiest, most uncomplicated dog she has ever met. Aw, Mom… you’re makin’ me blush!

I am 13 little pounds of love, and I love everybody in the entire world! I love my people so much, and I am happiest when I get to cuddle with them. I snuggle up in my Mom’s arms and give her a loving look with my big brown eyes, and she says it just makes her melt. And I really love my foster brother Scooter. We play together, and share all our toys, and Mom says that when we run, it’s like “poetry in motion”. (My dream would be to go to the same forever home as Scooter, cause I just love him sooooo much.)

One of my favorite things to do is play fetch, or even just throw a toy up in the air and catch it myself. I also have a little Pooh bear that I take everywhere, even outside to go potty! Oh, and by the way, I’m completely housebroken.

Dad says to tell you that I’m smart, too. I know all the basic commands. I know how to ride quietly in the car, or stay in my crate. When Mom or Dad says, “I’ll be right back,” I know what that means, and I just go lie down on my bed and don’t make a fuss. Also, I can sleep anywhere: in the crate, in my dog bed, on the big bed. Or in the playpen, cuddled up to my pal, Scooter. That’s like a sleepover! It’s so fun!

Mom says I’m a sweet, gentle, playful, spunky guy, who is a big hugger. Does that sound like the doggy you’ve been looking for? If so please fill out an application and ask for Danny.

Lots of cuddles and sweet looks,

Darling Danny

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danny, a La Costa Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
