Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi People,
My name is Wendy and I’m a young girl fur kid of about a year. who is sweet, playful, friendly and curious. I love squeaky toys and chews and love to play with my foster brothers and sisters. I’m great with kids as well…. but Mom says to tell you we don’t know how I am with cats!
I’m full of energy, crate-trained and very smart (Mom says I have already learned basic commands and really want to please!) I’m learning to ride in cars and meet lots of people, all of which is very new to me. Mom says that when I get over-tired, as puppies sometimes do, I just go
into my crate and lay down to relax and sleep. And while I do sleep in my crate at night, I love to
cuddle on the couch with my family whenever I have the chance, giving doggy kisses and lots of love!
Mom says to tell you she thinks I’m a cross between a bichon and a poodle, with a little Italian greyhound thrown in. (She says she’s just teasing about the greyhound part.) I’m long-legged, very sleek and slim now - and my hair is growing in very soft, white and pretty. When I first came to Bichon FurKids, you could barely see my face or body. I was about 25 pounds of hair… and then there was the rest of me. Now I’m about 15 pounds but can stand to put on a bit of weight. Mom also says I would be great either in a home with other dogs or, if I was the only dog, I’d need a lot of attention because, after all, I’m still a puppy. She also says to tell you that the cutest and funniest thing she has ever seen is when I fell asleep on the patio once with my head dangling over the edge of the pool. Mom kept waiting for me to fall in… but I fooled her and didn’t. (But sometimes I do fall asleep on the ottoman, then roll over and fall off :>)
All in all I’m just a bundle of loving energy waiting for a forever family of my very own. So if you are looking for a sweet young puppy with lots of love to give, and who wants nothing more than to be loved in return, please ask for me, Wendy- because I’m waiting for you.
