GIZMO's Story...
This is Gizmo, he is approx 2 years old black english style labby, who was found out of time in a high kill shelter, the LR lady saw him there noticed how gorgeous and happily goofy he was and grabbed him fast.
Gizzy, is a sweet goofy guy, who does not seem to know his commands and tries to pull a little on the leash, so we need to ask for a training deposit for this guy. He is a happy waggy chappy, and just adorable, did we also tell you he is so handsome with the most stunning brown eyes. Gizzy gets along great with all other dogs and is just a cuddle bug, he rides great in the crate in the car, and his tail never stops wagging, he is everything a labby should be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GIZMO, a San Diego Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
