My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: We believe he's a purebred Satin rabbit Size: Medium size male (probably about 6 pounds) Color: Red with gorgeous coppery/golden overtones. He's absolutely beautiful Approximate DOB: 8/1/2009 Reason in rescue: This boy was found as a stray bunny in someone's backyard, who brought him to our local small animal shelter. They called us because we specialize in rabbits and here he is! Personality: Red is just the sweetest thing on Earth. When you go near his pen, he stands up on his hind legs and begs for attention!! He loves being cuddled and petted and is just a happy, bouncy little boy! He doesn't like being picked up, but he tolerates it. He's just a playful wonderful boy, who is doing really well so far on using his litter box! Special Needs: None Friends: Red is not living with another bunny right now, but he is a good candidate to be bonded to a spayed female bunny. He is good with polite dogs and cats. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen. Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (email for the application), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes his neuter and first vet visit. **Please email if you are interested in adoption. We respond to all emails within 24 hours** Recommended: Food: Oxbow bunny basics T (timothy pellet), timothy hay, veggies Bedding: Newspaper, Yesterday's News, Cellsorb, or Carefresh Supplement: Oxbow Papaya tablet with pineapple
