Jetta's Info...

Jetta's Story...
Jetta is a special girl who is now looking for the perfect home. She was found wandering down the south-bound lanes of Hwy. 18 during evening rush hour traffic, and no one ever called to claim her. She is housetrained, spayed, current on all vaccines, has been heartworm tested, and has a microchip. Jetta has a wonderful temperament, is very friendly and sweet, and gets along well with other dogs, cats, kids, and people. She would be most happy in a home with another dog or dogs because she is so social. An active home would be best for her because she is certainly no couch potato. She is also at ease in new situations, such as a crowded Vets office, meeting new people, or walking in the Blue Jay Christmas Parade! She is very intelligent and can sit, lie down, touch, “relax,” stay, wait at the door, and shake, and she walks very well on a leash. However, she gets very drooly and can get sick on long car rides. Only the most special of homes for this special girl. The vet estimates she was born Feb. '08. She is 56 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jetta, a Lake Arrowhead Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Lake Arrowhead, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Lake Arrowhead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Arrowhead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Arrowhead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Arrowhead paves the way for another one to be saved.
