Here's what the humans have to say about me:
On a drive home from work on a remote back road coming up the mountain, a gentleman saw a small dog on the side of the road. He stopped to rescue this dog and the dog ran down an embankment so the man followed. There was a dog crate broken open with several other small dogs around it. All of these dogs were small, purebred and none were spayed/neutered. It appears that these dogs are the "leftovers" from a breeder and this was the disposal method. Tossed from a moving vehicle and left for dead.
Puppy is estimated to be about 3 yrs. old. He is very shy with people at first, but quickly forms an attachment. He likes to play with small toys and cuddle with stuffed animals. He is great with other dogs and cats, but he needs to be in a home with smaller dogs, because larger dogs frighten him. He is crate trained and is working hard on housetraining. Once he gets to know you, he is very loving and likes to have his ears scratched/massaged.
Puppy has had a short, but rough life and deserves a REAL loving home devoted to loving him.
