Foxy's Story...
Foxy was abandoned in an apartment with a bird. Luckily Foxy has a lot of self control and she and the bird were eventually rescued, hungry but unharmed.

Foxy is a petite pastel calico that loves to be around people. She is both affectionate and playful and would make a great companion for someone looking for a young cat that doesn’t mind being an only kitty.

If you are interested learning more about Foxy, or know someone who might be interested, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or 312.855.1225, or Lisa Ward at eward@spencerstuart.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxy, a Chicago Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
