Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Biscuit was found wandering on the GACS campus by some junior high students. They bought him "biscuits" from the school store and brought him into a classroom until they could get a volunteer to take him to the vet to check for a microchip or lost dog. No one came looking for him and because he had not identification or tags , he was released Gwinnett County Animal Control. Biscuit has been neutered, he is heartworm negative, and just wants to find a place to call home. He is great with kids and other dogs. He just wants to be petted and curl up in someone's lap. He travels great in the car. Biscuit weighs about 47 lbs and has a heart of gold. He is about a year old and loves to have his ears and neck rubbed. He is very loyal and would make a great family pet. He appears to be a combination bassett hound and labrador retriever.
Update from foster mom: Bisquit is doing really well. He is incredibly affectionate. He follows me around constantly and loves to cuddle. He slept on the bed last night and at one point, he laid right next to me and put his head on my pillow. When we're outside, Bisquit plays and chases my lab, Otis, but Bisquit runs around less than Otis and is pretty mellow, especially for being a one year old. I think the mellowness is from the basset hound part of him. Bisquit doesn't bark much. I've been putting him in his crate when I leave and even then he doesn't bark loudly, but just barks quietly in a sad way. I taught him to sit yesterday. He's smart and picked up the command pretty quickly. We'll be working on some other basic commands. He is an absolutely sweet dog. Bisquit has also been tested with cats and is fine with them!
