Chance's Story...
Chance is a well-trained Australian Shepherd mix. Chance's birthday is 07/01/07. He has been through obedience training and performs well when commanded. He does extremely well walking or running on a leash. Chance is house trained and crate trained. He currently stays in the laundry room during the day and night. He has been raised in a house with 2 young kids and has been very good with them.
Chance chases all small animals (birds, squirrels, ....cats). He is tolerant but should be placed in a home without cats. Chance plays well with other dogs, but would do best as an only dog. Chance will not go in basements.
Chance is great with kids. He was raised around kids. He currently lives with a 3 and 1 yr old.
He is sweet dog and loves human interaction.
Chance is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet Chance. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chance, a Cincinnati Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
