My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Katie is a cautiously happy, curious, outgoing beagle. She is pleasant company, non-aggressive, and content in the company of humans. She came to Beagle Rescue after her owner died, leaving Katie and her mom Rosie. Katie was extremely bonded to her mom Rosie, seldom allowing her out of her sight. But Rosie passed away in March of 2011. Katie missed Rosie but we think we did a good job explaining to her that Rosie has to go ahead for now. Katie has made a wonderful transition to being without Rosie. Katie still enjoys the company of ther foster siblings and still sleeps on her foster moms bed at night. Katie is a sweet, loving girl who would adore a home with another dog or a human that was around a lot.

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Just needs love and a human to love her. Happiest with another dog.

Owner Aptitude Level: Beginner.
