TRIX's Story...
Here comes Peter Cottontail! Well no, not Peter Cottontail, but Trix the cereal rabbit! Well no, not Trix the cereal rabbit, just sweet funny Trix, the PAWS rabbit! Normally, PAWS doesn't accept rabbits because we just don't have the facilities for rabbits, but Mr. Trix was an exceptional case. Some people brought him to PAWS saying that someone had thrown him into their fenced in back yard. That wouldn't have been quite so bad, but their dogs were in the yard. THAT WAS BAD!! The people heard commotion out in the yard . The dogs had Trix, and if the folks hadn't heard them, he would probably no longer be with us. However, thankfully, they reached him in time, and he wasn't hurt. They didn't know what to do with him, so PAWS took him. Now this fine looking 1 year old male bunny rabbit is looking for a home and family who will love him and keep him safe! He's a handsome young man and quite a cut-up! He has been neutered, is litter box trained, and is quite the social boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TRIX, a Anna Dutch was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch for sale in Anna, or seeking a Dutch from a breeder in Anna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch breeders who help with Dutch rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anna paves the way for another one to be saved.
