My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is MELLOW Milly. She is a SUPER sweet 5 year old female who would love nothing more than to lay at your feet and have you stroke her head.
She is very calm and would make a perfect companion for someone who wants a ready-made house buddy. She knows her basic commands (sit, down, stay)and walks without pulling on a leash. She enjoys being inside with people and has fantastic house manners. (no accidents, no chewing, no digging, no counter surfing, no jumping) She is justifiably a little nervous when left outside (she was rescued from the Lancaster Shelter) and might whine or bark a little if she thinks you aren't coming back! She is currently being fostered by a family with two younger kids, another lab, and a cat and does well with them all.

She would be fine as an only dog home or with others. Although she is far more interested in her people than other dogs. If she could talk, I think she might tell us she just wants to be inside curled up on a comfy rug with her human close by to give her head a rub.
