Lolita's Story...
This mom came from a breeder in Pecos that could not keep her. She has since had 4 babies, 2 boys and 2 girls on 10-01-10.
Lolita is a very sweet little girl, but can be a little shy at first. Once she gets to know you, she wants to be with you and will follow you wherever you go. She loves to be in your lap and will sleep with you at night. She is pretty mellow, but loves to run and play with the dogs in her foster family. Lolita gets along with cats, too. Once you hold this little girl in your arms, your heart will just melt. adoption fee $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lolita, a Albuquerque Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
