Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone,
I’m Déjà vu, the mom of the repeat puppies. My puppies are ready for their new homes and so am I. A preacher found me as a stray in Kentucky. I’m sure glad because my puppies were born just a couple weeks later.
I’m a small lemon beagle. Everyone who sees me says how pretty I am. I’m very sweet but my foster mom thinks I might have been treated badly before I was found. She says I act like I’ve been hit by people. I’m very friendly, just a little cautious when a hand comes near me.
I’m working on my potty training and have had just a few accidents in the house. I think my accidents were because I had to have extra food and water to feed my babies. I’m on a normal diet now and foster mom makes sure I go outside regularly. Sometimes I’ll cry during the night to let you know I need to go outside.
I’m looking for a home where I can get lots of good attention. I love to sit on the chair or couch and just relax. I play with my beagle mix foster sisters and my puppies in the fenced yard. I like going for walks and I’m pretty good on a leash.
I go in my kennel when nobody is home and at night for bed. I’m not crazy about it, but I’m quiet and don’t complain. I’ve been told that I haven’t earned my freedom yet. I guess that’s because of the potty accidents and a couple chewing problems. We’ve been pretty busy with the puppies, so now it’s time to start working on some more training with me.
I have a pretty loud bark, so apartment/condo life isn’t for me. I’ve got some of the typical beagle traits – barking, digging, finding the garbage, etc. So you’ll need to teach me proper manners. Foster mom also says I shouldn’t be in a yard with a chain link fence. She’s pretty sure I’d be able to climb my way out if I really wanted to.
