Bryson's Story...
THIS IS A CURTESY POSTING. THIS DOG IS NOT IN ROOKIES RESCUE
Bryson is a fun loving, active 2 yrs old lab mix. He's good w/ other dogs and loves to play. Bryson's middle name could be 'where's the action?!' He gets along well w/ other dogs and would love to have a buddy to play with. He would also be fine by himself. Bryson would love to have a running partner, chance to go to the beach or lake, walks in the woods or cross country skiing. He loves to run and stays with you well. He is crate trained and does very well in the house. Bryson does well on a leash, and very responsive. Just anxious to please his people.. He is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, soon to be microchipped. If you are interested in Bryson, please contact doggy.rescue@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bryson, a Derry Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Derry, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Derry.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Derry already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Derry breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Derry paves the way for another one to be saved.
