Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Red" is gorgeous red-brown with black spots & stripes. (Check out the leg extention!) He is a little dark, which may be why he was neutered. He weighs 12.5#. His head is fine and his ears are not large. His voice is firm (think Siamese) and he has a pretty authoritative growl when unhappy (think exotic, not Siamese, but he hasn't growled since surrendered at vet). He has been front declawed. There is no microchip and the people he has been visiting through the dog-door tried to find his home for two weeks. They have serious allergy problems and cannot keep any cat.
"Red" has tested negative for FeLV & FIV and has been vaccinated for distemper.
So far, he has been a wonderful addition to our rescue family.
"Red" needs a spacious environment or lots of layers (shelves, cat trees, etc.). We recommend a microchip. Unless your children are very responsible with doors, we suggest adults only. He is a high-energy cat, so should probably not be with low-energy cats (think long hair). He is getting along fine with all our short-haired cats, though. One benefit of exotic (mixed breed) cats is their natural resistance to disease, robust health.
Look into his glorious green eyes ... he's a great cat!
