Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lily is a very nice, pretty, underweight Treeing Walker Coonhound. She was picked up (literally) by a good Samaritan who assumed that because she couldn't stand, must have been hit by a car. He took her to the vet who quickly ascertained that she was not injured - just starving. He estimated that she wouldn't have lasted another day. We don't know how long she had been fending for herself, but clearly hunting isn't her thing.
She happily arrived in rescue, patiently accepting the probing sniffs of a house full of height challenged beagles with all the dignity she could muster. She seems truly happy to be here. She's already gained a bit of weight. Lily is a tall girl, and in the words of her foster mom, "has a boarding house reach." She is easily able to clear counters that your average beagle would struggle to reach.
Lily is a love - affectionate and gentle.
Adoptive Status: Will be spayed, UTD on shots, heartworm negative and micro-chipped within three weeks of posting date.
Dream Home Minimum Requirements: A fenced yard would be very nice.
