Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi People,
My name is Rufus and I am a young, happy and active little schnoodle about one year old. My foster mom says I’m a darling little guy who weighs about 11 pounds, is house trained (that is not a typo!), very loving and playful - and that I like to ‘talk.’ When I get up in the morning I have this cute little bark that says ‘Please let me out” and if you talk to me, I ‘talk’ right back – and I will keep responding as long as you keep talking. (Mom says that is very, very cute and I say I’m just communicating!)
I am a bundle of energy, love to play and never complain. The biggest challenge Mom has is that I like to explore – so a big enclosed yard would be ideal for me – one with a tall fence. It’s not that I want to run away… I’m just interested in the world outside.
Mom says I’m good with dogs, cats, children and people of all sizes and shapes. I like to sleep in my crate now but would probably be happy in a bed, too. When I first came in to rescue I had deeply embedded foxtails that were making me very sick – so the kind vet removed them from me. He put 21 stitches in my little body (almost a record he said) but I sailed through the surgery and recovery. Soon my hair will be growing back and you will never even know I had that problem. And it certainly did not hold me back for very long!
So if you are looking for a happy little fellow with lots of love to give, who is playful and content – and if you have a secure environment you can offer, please go to www.bichonfurkids.com/forms.htm and complete an application. Please ask for me - Rufus, as I’m waiting to be yours.
