Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi All…
Roja here. I weigh in at 28 pounds and am a 2-3 year old red beagle girl. My foster mom and dad call me Lucy after that red-headed comedienne Lucille Ball!
Could you please rescue me and get me out of here? It’s not that I don’t like it here, I love it, but foster mom keeps telling me that there is a forever family out there that is just going to love my cuddling and kisses. Does she mean you? It would be great if I could be an “only” although another dog is okay as long as it understands me….foster mom says I’m showing “alpha” tendencies. I just don’t like to share my humans. I like all kinds of humans, men, women, kids, babies, just can’t get enough of them. Also, when I’m lying in my bed, I don’t want to be bothered by another dog. I have a foster sister here, she tries to get me to play but I pretty much just ignore her.
I’m getting this housetraining stuff down pretty good. I sit at the door and whine. I’m a pretty quiet girl for a beagle. I don’t bark much at all. When I do it’s just a few AROOO’s. I walk on a leash okay….like to do a little sniffing along the way. It’s what beagles do!! I sleep in my crate all night and keep it nice and clean. Not so good in a crate during the day though! Foster mom and dad leave me free in the family room. I haven’t chewed anything inappropriate.
So….any help you could give to break me out of here would be greatly appreciated!
