Duchess's Story...
Duchess is a small, silver shaded chinchilla Persian who is 2-3 years old. She is a diva! You can see her catitude in the pictures. She can be sweet, purring and very loving, but be aware, she gets over- stimulated easily and will let you know she has had enough. We are not sure, but she may have been abused as when we got her mats shaved, we found big bruises on her sides. She is also shy about her feet being touched as her claws were very close to being grown into her feet and we got them cut just in time. She does like to sit on your lap and get kitty treats (especially the catnip flavored ones). She does not like other cats, so SHE WILL NEED TO BE THE ONLY CAT of the house. If interested in adoption Duchess, please email us for an application to fill out. We require an adoption application and approval before we set an appointment to meet the cats they are in private homes for foster care. This is policy and no exception will be made.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duchess, a Columbus Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
