Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bluebonnet ("Blue") is a 3 yr old, spayed blue with white Pit Bull female who weighs in at 64 lbs. Her handlers say she's one of the sweetest dogs they've handled in quite some time. She absolutely loves attention from both children (of all ages) and adults as well--whether they be male or female. Blue walks extremely well on a leash, knows her basic commands of sit and down, and is very treat motivated making her highly trainable.
Blue is the perfect passenger in the car--so much so that you would have to check periodically to see if she was still in the car. She seems to do well around other dogs and seems very interested especially in meeting little dogs. So far, at least, she has shown no interest in cats, but that's an unknown at this point.
Bluebonnet is currently available at the County Department of Animal Services at 5480 Gaines St. in San Diego. You can come by and meet her Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30-5:30. Closed Sundays, Mondays and Holidays. For more information, go to http://www.sddac.com .
