Delilah's Story...
Hi everyone! This is Delilah. She is a beautiful 2-3 year old pit. Delilah was picked up as a stray in an urban area. Based on her appearance, she had been on the streets for awhile. She was so skinny, nothing more than a bag of bones. She is slowly gaining weight and remembering how great it is to be in a family.

Delilah Is an absolute sweetheart. She greets everyone one she meets as if they were a long lost best friend. She gets along great with other dogs, loving to play with her two foster brothers (a pit-mix and a chihuahua!). She does not live with any cats in her foster home, but showed no real interest in the neighbor's cat.

Delilah is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. She is house trained, knows basic commands (sit, laydown, paw stc.) and is learning to walk on a leash without pulling. She is extremely food motivated and eager to please. Delilah will make a great addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a Worcester American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Worcester, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
