Say hello to King. King is approximately four years old and weighs in at about 84 pounds. This gentle giant found himself and his sister Princess (who is also up for adoption) found themselves all alone in the shelter when their family got transferred overseas in the military.
When King arrived at his foster mom’s house, he was nervous and scared. He was eager to go for walks and on every walk he seemed to be looking anxiously for his family. However, after a day to so, he warmed up to his foster family very nicely. He is now very relaxed and happy.
After a day or so we discovered that King is just a big happy dog. He loves to give kisses and have his belly rubbed. He plays with toys and interacts with other dogs nicely. He is very well behaved. He is housetrained, crate trained and he takes treats nicely and dines nicely next to his foster sister. He already knew how to “lay down” when he arrived and now he is mastering the “sit” command. King is also working on his leash training because he has a tendency to pull once in a while.
King is healthy and up to date on all his shots. He is also neutered and micro-chipped. All King needs now is a good home with a family to cuddle and play with. If you think you can provide a good home for King, fill out an application today. Or, come to one of our adoption days at Petco and meet him.
