Nikki's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Nikki's Story...
Nikki is a youthful 5-year-old Black Lab mix, with the perfect amount of energy - equally happy to play as to snuggle! She is beautiful, healthy and sweet, and knows Sit, Shake, (lay) Down, and In (to go in her crate). Already housetrained and having wonderful manners, Nikki would make an easy addition to your home. She is gentle and loving with children, other dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs! Typically quiet, but attentive, Nikki will give a bark to alert you if someone is at the door.

Nikki walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and does great in a car. She's very friendly and outgoing, and loves to be around people, but is not a "Velcro dog." This precious girl has been waiting for her FORever home for a long time, and has SO much love to give! Do you have room in your heart and home for Nikki?

If so, email us at forrescuetn@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nikki, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
