Hi, Everybody!
My name is Scamp - and I’m an adorable five-month-old Bichon mix who is all puppy!
Mom says the first thing you need to know about me is that I am VERY FRIENDLY! I’ve never
met a human I didn't like! In fact everybody I meet is my new best friend (kids and adults alike!)
The second thing you should know about me is that I love to play! I enjoy playing fetch with Mom (Did I mention that she’s getting really good at the retrieving part?) And Mom loves when I lay on my back and play with my toys (I can hold them up in the air with all four of my paws!) Chasing balls is fun, too. I n fact I love to run around the house with a ball in my mouth. At night, when play time is over, I snuggle quietly next to Mom in the big people’s bed -- and don't make a sound until morning.
Dad says to tell you that I’m working on my housebreaking skills, and because I’m SO smart, I’m almost perfectly trained already! I'm also learning basic commands – and already know a bunch of them that I respond to.
Even though I’m a young puppy I’m pretty self-sufficient. You can go leave me by myself, and I will
quietly and patiently await your return, ready to shower you with lots of hugs and kisses when you come back!
Like all puppies, I need a forever home with a family who will help me to learn new things. I
would love to go to training , so I can get better and better at everything! Mom says she’s sure I’ll get honors for the best doggy citizen, too.
