Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Inga is a younger, playful beagle girl looking for a home of her own. This pretty beagle does well with people and other dogs. She is fascinated by our very dog savvy, fearless cat, but might need some time to adjust to a less tolerant cat. Inga is not living with children, but has done very well with kids of all ages she has met at adoption events and other public outings. She does tend to get a little jumpy and mouthy when playing, so we will not recommend her to homes with young children. She has a beautiful coat with blue ticking where normal white beagle coloring would be. Everyone that sees her comments how beautiful she is. She is a petite girl with long legs and weighs about 17 pounds.
She settled in to her foster home very easily and is enjoying running after squirrels in the back yard, ‘unstuffing’ all the stuffed toys, and playing with the resident animals. She is ready to play or cuddle at a moments notice. Inga loves going on walks but is working on her leash manners – in typical beagle fashion she follows her nose first. She does get vocal when she is excited by another dog walking by so it is a good thing we have nice neighbors that don’t mind her beagle bark (she probably not an ideal apartment dog). She loves to run around and would do best in a very secure fenced yard (at least 4 feet high). We don't think she would do well on a tie out or with invisible fencing. Miss Inga will do well in a home that has time to play with her, walk her, or has other playful dogs.
She is crate trained and almost house trained (she had two accidents in the first few weeks in her foster home). She does settle down nicely in the house as long as she has some exercise during the day. She is very affectionate at times and likes to cuddle with people or the other dogs. Most importantly, Inga is very fun to have around and would love a home of her own.
