Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WILLOW in the WIND
10 month old Female Maine Coon Mix
Willow in the Wind got her name because she is always scampering playfully down hall.
When you follow her, she loves to run! She is a girl that is hard to catch, but when it is her time to bask on your lap, she will never leave you!
Willow was on the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter. We received a call from a shelter volunteer telling us she was getting sick and the shelter could no longer keep her.
Her foster mom raced up to the shelter that day and brought her home. She came into rescue with the most horrible flea allergy we had ever seen and was absolutely covered with flea dirt.
She had a horrible upper respiratory infection and was put on antibiotics for three weeks until she was healthy enough for her spay appointment.
What a difference supportive care has made for this precious little girl. Her flea allergy is gone and her coat is soft, fluffy and amazing. She is a small girl and will not be a large Maine Coon adult. We would call her petite and compact. Her eyes are so striking to look at and her markings are just exceptional with a variation of cream, white, brown and silver colors.
Willow would do wonderfully as an only cat and would give a single person plenty of love and companionship. She is a kitten that loves to sit with you on the sofa or bed and come to you for love and play. When she does, she will never leave. Her perfect home would be a single quiet person or couple with whom she can bond. She is good with other cats and she is fine with dogs.
Willow is fostered in Davis.
