Here's what the humans have to say about me:
No, this is not a calendar picture! This is the last bunch to join the LFS gang. These puppies were running loose in someone yard and one of our contacts called us. The owner did not want the puppies nor the mom (Maya), so we took everyone in. They are sweet, chunky, fluffy and simply adorablae. They were borth the week of Christmas so they are about 8 weeks old. They look like golden-lab mixes, 3 boys and 2 girls. While we do not dad, mom is beautiful and with a sweet personality. Notice: at 8 weeks old these puppies are 12 pounds!
UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM: Emerson is adjusting nicely to his new foster home. He gets along well with his 3 labbie brothers/sisters and his 3 non-furry sisters. He has not had any accidents the past 36 hours. He is a very quiet boy. Doesn't bark...has a soft little mouth...and is not much of a chewer. He imprints very quickly. Today we took all four pups to the park...and Emerson walked on the leash like a pro. I think he was just trying to keep pace with his labbie clan. Emerson prefers to be with his pack during the day, so I only put him in the crate at night...Although, he is not a fan of the crate, he settles in and sleeps most of the night. Emerson rides nicely in the car. He loves attending tennis matches after school...and ofcourse, sleeping through most of them! He is a very affectionate pup that likes being next to if not on the feet of his humans.
