Diego's Story...
"Go DIEGO Go" is a male Australian Terrier mix who would make the perfect companion for Dora the Explorer. Diego was found as he was exploring the world and following a jogger around the golf course. He thinks the world is his to discover and as such needs to go to a home with a tight fence and preferably someone who loves to take walks, either slow or fast....he wouldn't care, as long as he can explore his world.....safely. He is a great little dog who seems to prefer men to women, but is cool with anyone he meets. He is crate trained and house trained and enjoys the companionship of other dogs. He is about 3 to 4 years old and about 14 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diego, a Wichita Australian Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Terrier for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Australian Terrier dog from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Terrier breeders who help with Australian Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
