My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bandit is an adorable long-haired Chihuahua who will steal your heart away – hence his name. A typical Chi, he needs time to adjust to new people and doesn’t like to be rushed. He’s quite the player once he gets comfortable around those in the house. Bandit doesn’t like being crated, although he tolerates it. He really doesn’t need a crate, as he’s totally housetrained. He loves being and playing in the back yard and learned the doggie door immediately. Approximately 2-3 years, 8 lbs.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out. We will ask for past/present pet history and a veterinarian reference which we will contact. We require a good veterinarian history of your pets being spayed/neutered, on heartworm prevention and a fenced yard to keep them safe when they are outside.

Our adoption fee is $200.00 for dogs and $60.00 for cats. Our dogs are tested for heartworm,, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered. Our cats are tested for FIV, Feluk, and heartworm, and are also vaccinated and spayed/neutered

More about this rescue

We are a non sheltered rescue and are all volunteers. We have around 24 foster parents who take animals into their homes. Many of animals come to us in very bad condition. The foster parents work on house training, socializing them and getting them ready for their "forever home".

We make sure we represent them as they are, both positive and negatives and match the pet with the home. First and foremost we are concerned about the animals in our care and promise them a carefully screened very good home where they will be a member of the family.
