My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, everybody!
My name is Snowball, and I'm a very handsome bichon boy of five. I'm fluffy, friendly and playful – good with other dogs, kids and adults, I love to have my belly rubbed and give lots of ‘thank you kisses’ in return.

Mom says since I became a FurKid the sun has been smiling on me! You'll always see a big smile on my face. Know why? Because I'm a happy kind of guy who loves life. One of my favorite things to do is to play, especially with my squeaky toys. Sometimes Mom and I play "fetch.” She throws the toy then I run to get it and actually bring it back. (Mom says that when I walk back with the toy, I have a look on my face that makes her melt.) It's fun! Dad says I may not know many commands right now but I’m lovable and want to please – and that I’m very, very trainable.

Now I don’t mean to brag but I'm very smart and I learn very fast. For example, I am completely housebroken, which makes Mom and Dad really happy. And I don't chew on things, just my squeaky toys. I know how to behave around other dogs and would love to have another Bichon for a buddy. And I love when my folks entertain and we have guests over! I greet them and then sit with or near them, working on my ‘please pet me’ skills.

One of my favorite times of day is bedtime. Do you think that’s funny ‘cause it’s not a time of day at all – it’s a night time. (Silly me!) I used to sleep in a crate next to Mom and Dad’s bed. But now I get to sleep in the Big Bed where I can practice my snuggling technique.

The last thing Mom says to tell you is that I have "the biggest heart in the world" and that I love being part of a family more than anything in the world. So if I sound like your kind of guy, please fill out an application and ask for Snowball. I'll be watching for you.

Love and hugs,

Sweet, Snuggly and Happy Snowball
