Hi World,
We are Teddy and Charlie, a bonded pair. (Teddy is the bichon and Charlie a yorkie.) Since I’m five years old Mom said I can tell you about us. My mom has had me since I was a little puppy. She says I have always been a snuggler, that I am loving and VERY smart. Mom says I know how to do a great bichon buzz but my favorite thing is to be her shadow. I always want to be near Mom (you never know when she’s going to need me to do something) and I like to help her figure things out. I will give a doggy kiss or two and am always ready to play – but my most favorite thing in the world is to swim! I’m very smart, and brave, and I can even jump off the step of a boat, swim a circle then come back in. And I love to wrestle and run around – except at night when I like to watch TV with the family, sitting at your feet or in your lap. Mom says I have a big heart and I am always sensitive to her needs (that’s when I like to snuggle!)
Mom brought Charlie home to be my doggy brother three years ago. He is a bit scared of his own shadow so I have to protect him (of course, I’m the big brother.) In the past year Charlie has started to snuggle more, and not be as afraid. He now wants to sit on laps and be closer to mom. And Charlie is a kisser. If you are lying on the floor or sitting on the couch Charlie will give you a lick to let you know he cares – then sit a bit away from you and watch you rather contentedly. Mom says Charlie obeys rules better than I do and is a terrific little guy who listens very well.
Mom and Dad have a new baby in the house, now, and don’t have time for us the way they used to. Even though it is a very difficult decision for them, they know we would be happier if we could be together in a home filled with love and people who can spend time with two adorable and happy little guys.
