Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sir James has only been in rescue for a few weeks. He came from a rural kill shelter in South Carolina. He was found roaming with another beagle. When animal control picked them up and contacted the owner, he replied "just keep 'em." Now considered an owner give up, they were scheduled for immediate euthanization. Had a volunteer for a rescue group not been in the shelter that day, neither of them would never have made it out. The volunteer worked very hard to find a rescue to take them. BRSM took both.
Now starting to relax in his foster home, James is turning out to be a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He bounces in and out of the house, happy to chew on a bone and nap in a sunny spot in the yard. He loves treats and is quite happy to share--his treat, his bowl of food, his drink. He does the beagle thing around the backyard, sniffing each blade of grass as though they held all the clues to the universe. He is grateful for the attention given him by the resident humans. Sir James is a very, very good boy!
Adoptive Status: Will be neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative and micro-chipped very soon.
Dream Home Minimum Requirements: James just needs someone to love him forever. He wants his forever home to know he is not disposable.
