Hi there! My name is Hoshi which means “Star” in Japanese. It is also the name of a character on Star Trek! Foster mom says that I am a beautiful “open tri-colored” 13” gal. I weigh about 20 lbs but I sure don’t look that big! I made my way from a shelter in Michigan to my foster home in Wisconsin and I have been making myself right at home! I have a foster brother and a foster sister that love playing with me! They are bigger than I am so, if it gets too crazy, I just jump up on the couch by my foster mom and take a snooze! While I do like to play, napping seems to be one of my favorite things! I curl myself up into a little ball and snore away! I also LOVE going for walks! I am great on the leash and I don’t pull too much! I would love a fenced in yard because I love to zoom around and I'm a super fast runner! If you don’t have a fenced yard, I would need walks and maybe an occasional trip to the dog park so I can stretch out my legs! Hey….did I tell you that I am 100% house trained? I have NOT had a single accident since I’ve been in my foster home! I just go by the door and let out a little whine when I need to go! I also do very well in my crate. I usually just curl up and go to sleep. Sometimes I might whine a bit but I settle down quickly. I’m a pretty quiet girl. The only time I bark is when I see a squirrel or when one of the other dogs has a toy I want! So, if you are looking for a sweet little snuggler who loves to go for walks, I’m the girl for you!!
