Mo Rocca's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Mo Rocca's Story...
Mo Rocca aka Roc, is a three year old, purebred American Staffordshire Terrier. The best way to describe him is a big baby. Actually, Rok is a huge baby! weighing 85 pounds!
Roc loves tennis balls and tug of war, riding in the car and walking around the neighborhood, snoozing on the couch and giving kisses to his foster mom. Well, Roc seems to love everything!

He is good with other dogs but his former owner said that he does not love cats. Roc has lived with small children and loved playing with them a little too much. He would jump on them when he was excited and knock them down. That is why Roc is now looking for a new home. Roc responds to basic commands such as sit, lay down and stay.

Roc is housetrained and obeys several basic commands. He is a wonderful boy who you really need to meet to appreciate. He has been a joy to have around and will make someone a wonderful new best friend.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered and thoroughly vetted. A $150 adoption fee helps us provide care to Roc and all the other dogs we rescue. (A home visit is required for American Pitbull terriers and American Staffordshire Terriers.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mo Rocca, a Staunton American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Staunton, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
