Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Patty
2 yo Female Cream Shell Persian
I am such a beautiful cat, but my picture doesn't show it. My foster mother has PROMISED that she'll get a better photo of me ASAP. I'm so embarrassed. I was sitting there all excited about the new people coming to pet us, so I wasn't really focused on showing my best side. Then someone starts grabbing at me, like an Auntie pinching the cheeks of the kids at the family reunion. Good grief, what was I to do? They had the camera, and there was the obnoxious picture. I'm really quite nice, not cranky like my pictures show. My coat is like silk, I have pretty clear eyes that don't run like some of those horrid flat faced Persians. My foster mom laughs at me when she pets me. She says I get "over stimulated". Just because I reach up with both front paws to grab your hands if you stop petting me? Hey .. I lived my entire life in a cage up 'till now and I'm thrilled with all of the new attention. I want constant petting if I can get it! I love the other cats, too. Hardy is one of my new foster brothers. I think he's the cutest guy and he likes me too. Maybe there will be another boy cat in my new adoptive home. I hope someone adopts me soon! This is very exciting getting all of this love and I want MORE MORE MORE!
This beautiful cat came to us when a CFA breeder had a health crisis and had to rehome her cats. They are in beautiful shape and their breeder did "the right thing" by finding them safe places instead of dumping them in a high kill animal shelter somewhere. All of these Persians were well cared for, and have never been exposed to shelter viruses. They were kept in cleanly, outdoor habitats during their lives as breeder cats. They are fostered in private homes and kept away from any cats that have come to us from shelters. Most have been well socialized around other cats, as well as dogs. All will be altered prior to placement and brought current on their vaccinations. These photographs were taken while the cats were still in their original environment. These cats are not being caged, nor are they allowed to be out of doors. Placement will be to indoor only homes.
