My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maine Coon

Size: Large
Age: Adult
Gender: Female
ID:

Notes: Kia is a beautiful 3-4 year old Tortie & White Maine Coon.
"Hello! I am Kia and I want to share my love with you! I'm a stunning combination of orange, white and black fur and intense gold eyes. With a quiet, almost kittenish voice, I continuously trill and exclaim to show delight at life. I love laps and will fill yours with a purry mound of appreciation. Busy lap? Then I will sit contentedly watching my humans work. Intrepid mountain climber, I look to find the highest perch I can. Quiet maturity makes me an easy companion. Adoptable together with my sister Calla if you like."

UPDATE FROM FOSTER PARENT: Kia likes to ride around on your shoulder. That perching thing is actually that she wants to perch on you! I have had a couple of repair people here, and she scared the crap out of them when she jumped on their backs (when they were not looking) and walked up to their shoulders, where she would not get down.
Kia and Calla are being fostered in the Sacramento area. For more information, contact Mary Dee at mdrickards@aol.com

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, San Francisco Bay Area, and Northern Nevada,is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exception felines.
Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat.
We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
