My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Sita. I am a friendly, playful kitty who needs a home for life. So does my sister Kali. We are great cats - good with dogs, kids and other cats. We are well socialized with everyone. I am mellow and laid back. I'm not an in-your-face, clingy cat. I enjoy my time to myself. But I love to play with toys and other kitties when I want. I'm affectionate and I give kisses. Both Kali and I are great with the litter box and love to be brushed and petted. We have let our foster mom clip a nail or two before getting too nervous, but will do fine in time. We are good with other cats, dogs and kids. We always use the litter box and we love to love. We were born in April 2011. Please give Kali and I homes for the holidays. Adoption fee: $100 and includes testing, deworming, vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adopt a pair: $150.

Come meet available dogs, cats, puppies and kittens on the fourth Sunday of every month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at K9 Cuisine N More, 55220 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd., Shelby Township. Our next event is Sunday, February 26th. Give a homeless pet the best gift ever - a family to love and a home for life! Enjoy the Scentsy sale too.

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
