Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Jasmine. Yes named after Princess Jasmine from the movie Aladdin. I am 9 years old but no one believes that because I still like to play like a puppy sometimes. I have a favorite green squeaky football that I like to run around the house with. I sometimes bring it to you when you come home as a present. I have had a great home life so far. My best traits are that I am sweet, adorable, lovable, loyal, a great companion, love attention (and give a lot back), and I love children. You should see me sit up and beg for my treats and give my paw. I am so good that I have never had to be crated. I am pretty lucky.
I have been with my family since I was 8 weeks old and they loved me very much but this past year a lot of things have changed. My dad, who I live with now is ill and has to go into long term care so I need a new home where someone will love me as much as I am loved now. My perfect home would have no more than one, maybe two, other dogs my size but I am not a cat lover. Or I would make a great companion for one person who needs a companion too! I love the outdoors, love to be walked and my most favorite word is RIDE! A home with a fenced yard would be the most ideal but not necessary. I love to run and chase squirrels up trees; that is the ‘hunter’ in me.
I am told that my only annoying traits are that I pull too much when I am walked unless I am in the right collar and I squeal quite loudly when you come home because I am sooo happy to see you or anyone else who comes in the house (because of course they are there to see me too). PLEASE let me come and live with you. You will love me I promise.
