Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jake's care has been sponsored by a very caring and generous supporter of GPRCI. DUE TO JAKE'S FAILING PHYSICAL CONDITION, HE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. A MOVE WOULD NO LONGER BE IN HIS BEST INTEREST. WE WILL KEEP HIM COMFORTABLE AND LOVED HERE AT THE RESCUE/SANCTUARY FOR AS LONG AS IS BEST FOR JAKE, WITH ADVICE AND DIRECTION FROM OUR VET. Jake is one of our senior sanctuary residents. He is an extremely tall and lanky 10-11 year old male who weighs in at 115 pounds. He is a well socialized, friendly, and always a big hit with visitors to the rescue. Jake gets along well with female dogs and cats and loves a soft bed and lots of belly rubs. Jake cannot do stairs due some structure and arthritis issues and takes daily pain meds for those issues. We realize that due to his age and health issues, Jake is very special needs but still hold onto hope that he will finish his life in a home.
