OSCAR HAS BEEN IN ADOPTION FOR TWO YEARS!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS DOG HAS NOT BEEN ADOPTED!! Do you people not see the pictures? Those sweet, brown eyes? I have had him for over a year. This seems impossible when he is just so great!!! Oscar was taken in by a sweet woman who was doing Meals on Wheels visits to a house. The house was located on a busy freeway and she had noticed him living on the porch for many months. On this particular day he had been attacked by a larger dog that was chained on the property. When she confronted the owners about the dog they told her to take it. In all of the months that it had been living on their porch they had never bothered to care for it or name it. When she brought us the poor dog he was in extreme pain and acted as a dog that hadn't felt love or nurtured in a long time, if at all. However, with a new name comes a new life and now OSCAR is a brilliant, happy, healthy dog awaiting a loving a committed family. He is a constant clown and is always clamoring for attention. We have nicknamed him "The Tank" because for his small stature... he is pure muscle and weighs quite approximately 20lbs. He is about 3 years old and an absolute joy around the house.
Oscar was kept on the front porch of a house on a busy street for months until he was finally attacked by another dog and the owners decided he needed a better home.
