Hello World,
My name is Mickey and I am a very handsome bichon of five with a great big personality who is also adorable, cuddly, sweet and playful. Mom says I will steal your heart and you wont even know it.
Dad says I love to play tug-of-war with my favorite towel and am learning to play with my doggy foster brothers. Before I became a furkid I spent a lot of time by myself in a yard so a lot of what Im learning about the world is brand new to me!
One of the things I knew from my previous life is riding in the car. Want a buddy to drive to the beach? Ride to the park, across town or across the country? Then Im the guy for you! Im also learning how to go on walks and to explore the great big world. Wow, is that ever fun!
After my excursions I'm quick to jump on the couch for a big time snuggle. Mom says I love being held and would gladly stay in your lap for hours on end! She says when I look at you with my big brown eyes and ask to snuggle you will absolutely melt well at least Mom says she does! (And Im not even trying that hard!)
Mom says I am "almost housebroken" too. I'm not sure what that means, because I promise I have not broken anything in the house! She says Im smart and want to please so Ill be done with this challenge in no time at all.
Did I tell you that Mom and Dad say Im very sociable? I like to meet and greet people wherever I go. Im good with gentle children, am not annoyed by skateboarders or bikers whizzing by and Im learning my commands. I know sit and sit pretty and Im learning wait. And Ive already learned to take treats from Moms hand.... very gently too.
Most of all Mom and Dad want you to know Im a great walking partner, and a terrific companion to take to the park or beach! It's also important to me to have a fur kid or two as I dont like to be alone, and, of course, people I can enjoy and who will be around me most of the time.
