Whimsey's a friendly cat from a TNR project based at a nursing home on Kenwood and 62nd street.
Whimsey is a shy cat who came in from south of the Midway. After a few days hiding the bathroom, he now lets his foster parents pet him and purrs a lot especially during a good tummy scratch. He's still adjusting to the indoor life and is a bit timid jumping at loud noises. He's very playful too. His one "whimsical" characteristic is that he's finicky about his water. He doesn't like to drink his water straight from the tap. He likes either overnight water or bottled water. His fosterdad hopes that Whimsey doesn't develop a habit of drinking bottled water. From lapping up street puddles to drinking bottled water, Whimsey's life has definitely taken a luxurious turn for the better. Adopt him and give him the cushy house cat lifestyle!
