Here's what the humans have to say about me:
See Dick run. See Jane run. See Spot run. HEY! Where's Spot? Oh yea, He was adopted. What a happy ending for Spot. But that can't be the end to this story. Dick needs to be adopted. Jane needs to be adopted. All puppies need to have their own happy ending. Help us write a happy ending for Dick & Jane.
It should be something like this. See Dick get adopted by a wonderful family. See Jane find her furever home. You could be the one to write this happy ending by adopting one of these nice pups.
Foster Note Jane is a nice little puppy. She is about 20 weeks old her life started out badly. She was born in a puppy mill. She wasn't taken care of & was rescued just in time. At first she was afraid of people but now is completely healed. She is a normal puppy who loves to play with her brother and other dogs. She plays with our cats too. She isn't house trained yet and likes to chew things but will chew appropriate chew toys if they are available. She loves lap time & will happily nap in your lap.
Please read our Standards for Adoption, the Beagle Camp Diaries and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog who will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements; and for families with very small children, puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets and hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
