My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pia arrived at a high kill shelter as a pregnant "teenager'...just 8 mos old, she was hardly out of kittenhood herself! This ginger tabby girl has a super sweet, calm and affectionate personality. She loves to sit on laps and purrs whenever petted. Pia uses only velvet paws when playing (no extended claws). She has purr-fect house manners and uses her litterbox without fail. She is also very quiet... sleeps through the night on the bed (or across your chest!) and waits for her person to wake up before politely leading you to her food bowl. Pia enjoys the company of other cats (and is very motherly toward kittens !) and would love to share her forever home with another feline. She's gentle enough for young children and will make the perfect, loving pet for some lucky family. Currently in foster care in Falls Church, VA.
