Doyle's Story...
Doyle is a handsome Beagle boy with lots of love to give! Still adjusting to his new foster home, he's a little shy but is quickly coming out of his shell. Doyle respects the seniority of BRSM alum Mattie and Willoughby but is an enthusiastic participant in a good Beagle romp or game of chase. Already responding to his new name, he's a smart fellow -- commands like 'come' and 'sit' that yield a tasty treat have been quickly learned. Doyle is a quiet guy -- hasn't uttered a peep since arriving and sleeps silently through the night in a crate next to the bed. Slightly resistant to the crate, once in, he quickly settles down to spend some quiet-time while home alone with his beagle brethren (there is doggie-cam footage to prove it!). He's very affectionate and could easily become a lap dog who would love to curl up next to you for a little nap or to watch TV.

An agile and energetic youngster, he would do well in a calm home with non-aggressive canine companions. A fenced yard that he may cautiously explore would be ideal. Won't you open your heart to this wonderful boy who would love to settle into his forever home soon?

Adoptive Status: Neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative and micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doyle, a Waldorf Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
