My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
We are Cooper, a bichon & Roxy, a maltese - and we are the best of friends. We have been together since we were two months old and we are now each a little more than one year old. We share the same food and water bowls, the same toys, the same bed – why Mom and Dad say we are basically inseparable. They enjoy watching us play because we love to chase each other and tug at one another’s ears. I, Roxy, will dart under the bed and Cooper will try his best to pull me out by my tail. When I want to play, however, I start bringing out all of our toys one at a time - and drop them at your feet until you can't say no! We also like to share a special blanket that normally resides on a leather chair. That’s where you can often find me, Roxy, relaxing. When Cooper wants to play he tugs and tugs on the blanket (with me on it!) and eventually pulls it down – then we start playing all over again.

As a little girl of eight pounds, I, Roxy, am very cute. Mom says I’m also loving, affectionate and fast! When I run I look like a white ball of fur Cooper, on the other hand, weighs 17 pounds like most bichons. He’s bigger than I am and not quite as fast but he thinks he’s pretty smart! – Cooper will just sit in one place letting me run back and forth before he finally ‘catches me’. (He thinks I get tired and that all he has to do is wear me out. What he doesn’t realize is that I’m smart and know exactly what I’m doing!) We like to talk and make noises when we play and there is never a moment when our tails are not wagging!

Ever since he was a puppy, Cooper’s favorite thing is not to have a treat or go for a walk (although he likes those, too) his favorite thing in the whole world is a belly rub. He also loves to snuggle on the couch but he is okay ‘hanging out’ by himself, too. Cooper is great with other dogs and loves everybody. He loves children and his eyes light up and he gets excited whenever he sees a child.

I, Roxy, am happiest when everyone is home and we can be together. I also love to play fetch and am a very smart dog. Dad says it often seems as though I understand what he and Mom are saying – they think I am the most observant dog they have ever met.

Both Cooper and I MUST stay together! Our ideal home is filled with love and attention, is a place where we can be walked and played with every day – and where we can give (and receive) lots of love. If that sounds like your kind of home – and we sound like your kind of
fur kids – please complete our application at www.bichonfurkids.com/application.htm.

We’d love to be your Valentine present!
Love,
Roxy and Cooper
